breakfast at tiffany's & the children's hour

2009.11.25
the very first scene and she looked like she was floating. i didn't get it then. it was when she started eating her breakfast, going up to her apartment and charming/dis-arming the 2 males that i got it. not only was the character amazing, the actress that is Audrey Hepburn is amazing as well. I can't even describe the allure that is her but it hits without knowing and you're hooked.

I've read the novella by Truman Capote. I already knew what she looked like but i never pictured her as Holly Golightly. She really turned it into her own. I could not understand the novella but i got the movie. A real classic.

i've read somewhere about a progressive kiss in this movie. it was either censored out or i remembered wrongly. no matter. i would not want to live in such times nor be tormented as such. it took alot to be independent back then and it took alot of courage to be yourself.

i have finally understood the beauty of Audrey Hepburn. the charm, the style, the voice, its the whole package. there is something grand and fancy about Hollywood during that time. Makes me want to watch more of these movies and experience those times. this is just the start of more classic movies.
